Willa had such a fun Thanksgiving! We made some little footprint turkeys for her grandparents and had three dinners. She loved trying all the foods and even thinks maybe she likes mashed potatoes now.
We spent time with GiGi and Grampy, and saw all the aunts and uncles we don’t get to see as often. Then went to Grandma and Grandpas and played with the duck decoys she’s obsessed with.
The day after Thanksgiving we went full Christmas mode and started decorating. We set up one of my Grandmother’s favorite decorations. Her antique German advent whirligig, it involved translating instructions and hot gluing pieces together but Willa loves to watch it spin.
We ended the holiday weekend picking out our tree at Zimmer‘s tree farm and setting it up as a family. Willa loves the lights and got so excited to touch the ornaments that we even gave her a couple as toys. We made a snowman as a family and are ready to enjoy the holidays the best we can. I am so thankful for my sweet little girl that makes the holidays happier and more exciting than ever.
